Torture
Sometimes torture takes on a new meaning, when the right to freely express is mowed over by the necessity to conduct self-restraint; other times it is mild, when basic expectations fall to dust and concern seems reduced to nothing more than a characteristic flaw of nagging. Sitting beside you becomes a whole new experience and I wish we had more telephatic connections. I wish I didn't have to behave so caged, so tame, when actually my arms were just desperately hoping to hold, to have some kind of point-to-point connection. The setting's perfect - the hour's late, soft drousy rain, the comforter's warm, the lights dim. Only thing missing, you.
If only I had more guts.
If only I had more guts.
