Turning 17 isn't such a bad thing after all. At least not when people make you feel special and loved on your birthday.

It's really nice to see them put in so much effort and thought into making you happy on your day. Buying me lovely cakes (even though they're damn fattening), catching a movie with me, making cards, surprising me with gifts, and the simple messages sent through the phone or the net.

A big thank you to everyone who made me smile today.
Thank you for making me feel special,
Thank you for making me feel loved,
Thank you for simply remembering.

And for all of that, this newly-17-year-old boy wishes that everyday was his birthday!
